The Sims 3 – Building a House 13 – Carnelian Chalcedony – Part 3 – Architecture/ Interior
The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Thank you for your patience! I’m back in college again so I wont have as much time to build houses as before, but I will attempt to pump them out as fast as I can. Unfortunately, as I said before, with each installment I take more time building. This house in particular jumped from 2-3 hours to 4.5!!! Crazy! Can’t even grasp how long Mr. Green House will take :S, as there is much, much, much planned for that house =] INDOOR GARDEN!!! What do you guys think of it? I reckon it would look better bigger but I really couldn’t be bothered playing around with the house. Alright, so after touching up places here and there, I find that my lovely garage wants to be too small for the car so I had to extend the sides. Which was a pain and a half… Bedrooms! I tried playing with complementing colour…. the green bedroom moreso than the yellow, turned out good! Each installment of my ‘Colour Series’ will have a new feature that I will use for the next installment, so Green will have an amalgamation of all the previous houses, effectively making it a super house! Blue has the colour theme. Orange has the pond. Black and White has the lowered living room. Red has the indoor garden… and to an extent the garage. I’ve done the majority of the Visible Spectrum and I’ve decided to make one more, sorry to those who would have like to see Violet/ Indigo but don’t worry, the next installment will BLOW YOU MIND! Carnelian …
The Sims 3 – Building a House 7 – Chicago Dreaming – Part 3 – Interior
The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Requested by coolkit211, who asked for a 1950′s Chicago Townhouse for his Italian Family (which I accidentally disregarded), that consists of Mother, Father and teenage daughter. So apart from those details, I was asked to include a garage and basement (I don’t understand the need for them so the houses I’ve made that require a basement I left empty) and it needed to be small. My first reaction was that it was going to be a quick and easy job… how wrong I was. This house took 3 hours to complete!!! And nothing was extraordinarily hard either, time just flew past. I could’ve made it 2 floors instead of 3 if I managed the ground floor better (theres lots of empty space), but I’ve always wanted to do a 1st floor Kitchen/ Dining Room, so I crammed them, a bathroom and a family room all on the one floor. 2nd floor is really nice but I definitely get carried away with colour themes. I tried being different with the daughters room and threw in Blue instead of all pink. But I think the Black & White throughout the house turned out quite nice. Backyard was just thrown together and the “garage” is very basic. Okay this is my last house that I’m building for a bit. I don’t have much internet to upload 1GB worth of videos everyday… that, and I’m all creative-ed out… I need time to recharge. I’m thinking of building simple, small starter homes instead of expensive works of art when I come back. I need a change. So …
The Sims 3 – Building a House 12 – It’s Black, It’s White! – Part 5 – Interior
The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Yes, I finally finished part 3 of my ‘Coloured Series’, Black and White!!! Warning, this house may cause Sensory Deprivation! I went for the quick and easy approach to furnish the 2 bedrooms and mixed and matched the white and black of one room and reversed it for the other, looks very cool I reckon. =] Nothing really special or worth discussing except for the change I made in the Master Bedroom, didn’t feel right that there wasn’t a bathroom close to the bedrooms so I made the ensuite accessible for them too. Yet again I forgot to leave the speed of the fly thru at the end of the vid alone so it’s super quick, but you get to see me make the rooms so it’s not much of a big deal. Finally, next part for my series will be red, and the feature will be… I dunno, I haven’t decided yet. If you guys have any ideas, Please comment them to me, and who knows, maybe your feature will be featured! Each installment of my ‘Colour Series’ will have a new feature that I will use for the next installment, so Green will have an amalgamation of all the previous houses, effectively making it a super house! Blue has the colour theme. Orange has the pond. Black and White has the lowered living room. It’s Black, It’s White! costs $129 000 furnished and $103 000 unfurnished. It took around 4 hours to build and furnish. Enjoy!
The Sims 3 – Building a House 5 – The Window to the Home – Part 5 – Interior
The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Oh. My. God I haven’t felt this excited about uploading a house since No.9 back in Sims 2!!! Thanks to a request by ghjit, who asked me to build a Japanese/ Indian themed house that looked like a house you’d see in Las Vegas… in the 70′s. I dunno but that’s what I associated the hose with =\. Link to the picture i worked off of is here: www.lamidesign.com What do you think it looks like? Anyway, Sims 3 doesn’t cater for Japanese or Indian themes so I was asked to go for retro… which, sadly, isn’t catered for either. I planned to have modern exterior with a retro interior, but since that fell through, I stuck with modern for both. I must say, I absolutely love this house!!! I stayed in night mode while I was building cos with the lighting it looked realllllllllly sweet. A few ideas such as the driveway and entrance I stole from the Pondsomething house in Sunset Valley, Great house that! Bamboo works really nice with anything. And the usage of the different types of windows I stole from another video from Youtube, can’t remember it though. but thanks goes to them. The little Beachy-Oasis think was a ‘spur the moment’ idea. If you watched my House 4 you’d have seen me dabble with water but didn’t use it. I’ve also started playing around with feature walls and different shades of colour for each side of a room, like the bathroom. You’re all probably getting tired of me using the same furniture sets and stuff …
The Sims 3 – Building a House 1 – The Spiked Cannon – Part 2 – Interior
**READ BEFORE WATCHING** www.thesims3.com Thanks to everyone who has subscribed, befriended me, viewed, rated, commented, favourited me! It’s overwhelming, I try to reply to most messages, provided they’re replyable, Oh and I will delete spam and negative things too! I’m going to stop taking requests for now, I’ve got 3 or so more to do. UNless theres one that really catches my attention! Hello everyone! thanks for the overwhelming support u awesome ppl have given me! heres the link for the house for download!!!! If you are a fan of The Sims, then join this group www.youtube.com !!! Alright, first off, Create A Style absolutely rocks!!! Spent most of my time in that than the house!!!! Building is easy, the lack of half walls isn’t cool. As is the garden options, the flowers are basically tiles and cant be seen over hedges, and the shrubs and stuff are way too big and there aren’t enough plants in general. There isn’t a decent Wood Flooring option that I like that doesn’t need to be Styled, I tried but I couldn’t get it right. Apart from that it’s very good. Love the new fireplace! Furnishings… I miss the pages amongst pages of random decor I had back in Sims 2
. The Sims 3 house feels empty, but they have TOILET PAPER!!!! which is awesome, and cabinets for kitchens, totally wasn’t expecting that but they rock! I quite unhappy the left out the “basic” items, like pianos and pool tables as well as much, much more but theres always the EPs. The 45 degree option is …
The Sims 3 – Building a House 12 – It’s Black, It’s White! – Part 4 – Interior
The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Yes, I finally finished part 3 of my ‘Coloured Series’, Black and White!!! Warning, this house may cause Sensory Deprivation! Being the moronic moron that I am, I forgot to save the progress I made from the previous part,so I had to re-do the floors and walls and made slight changes here and there. Nothing drastic but noticable. I don’t know why the wallpaper in the 2 bedrooms upstairs is so reflective, but its very annoying and I’m pretty sure that certain wallpaper isn’t normally reflective. On top of that, floors and walls decided they wanted to have that odd question mark error thing which created unwanted fixing. I have to say Black/White furnishes might just be my favourite so far. But I’m sure Green/ Yellow will reign supreme! I tried lowering the kitchen too but I didn’t have enough space to work with. The kitchen and dining looks like The Spiker Cannon’s kitchen and dining set. Enjoy!
The Sims 3 – Building a House 14 – Green With Envious Springs – Part 5 – Interior
The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com I tried something new (and stolen) in regards to the wardrobe thing. I though it looked nice! So obviously the master bedrooms has the theme from Carnelian, Probably should have made the theme more subtle but oh well. I quite like the black/white dining set in the backyard too! I accidentally slowed down more of the vid than i should have, and slwoed it down too much. Green has the guest house, as well as all the others mentioned above! Green with Envious Springs took a massive 7.5 hours to build and costs $179 000 furnished and $122 000 unfurnished. Finally, I am NOT taking requests, AT ALL, I’ve got 2 in line to do plus some tutorials people have asked me to make. I want the freedom of making whatever I want again, and maybe go back and play Sims 2 for some more better houses! Enjoy!
The Sims 3 – Building a House 8 – Treetop Living – Part 4 – Interior
The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com I got around to finishing up the interior for the house today, being the 8th house, furniture has become very repetitive so bare with me, I myself have gotten tired of using the same things over and over again. The kitchen and dining set’s schemes are actually pitch black, but their metal reflects off the white tiles which makes them greyish silver… it’s a bit annoying so I tried darkening the rooms. There’s a lot of empty space around the house, there can only be so many lounges! Until my Sims 3 library fills up with packs you’ll be seeing the same sets used. As with most of my houses, I gave up with the interior halfway and got lazy and rushed the rest. All in all the inside of the house is meh, if you do end up downloading it, do with it as you want! The house costs just under $88 000 unfurnished, $123 000 furnished It took me about 3 hours to build and furnish. Stay tuned over the next day or so for my next house. Hint: Think sand. Bonus points for those who guess it. Enjoy!!!
The Sims 3 – Building a House 17 – Avalon Grande – Part 5 – Interior/Exterior
The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Hey everyone!!! In this part I’m just touching up what is left of the ground floor to fill up space, I’ve been experimenting with the MO and combining objects together, they are not supposed to be used it is just for aesthetics, but I haven’t tested it out so I will when I’m done! Now, the main part of this… part is the creation of the custom hot tub!!! and changing the depth of the swimming pool… apparently the animations for getting to the hot tub are humorous, I haven’t tried it yet but yeah… Next part is the second floor bedrooms! Avalon Grande took 9-10 hours to build altogether and costs $308 000 furnished and $151 unfurnished. Enjoy!!!
The Sims 3 – Building a House 17 – Avalon Grande – Part 9 – Interior
The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Finally the last of the bedrooms!!! The oldest sons room, nothing really special, maybe the couch at the end of the bed? I also decided to add in the en suite to the Master, it’s a tad bit small for my liking but it looks nice regardless, it makes the room look better I reckon. There’s something about wooden baths which I think is really neat… even though it’s the first time I’ve used it. Same goes with that red… plus wood.. plus bathroom = WIN!!! I only added blinds to the bathrooms cos theres so many windows in the house I couldn’t be bothered adding them to every one. Avalon Grande took 9-10 hours to build altogether and costs $308 000 furnished and $151 000 unfurnished. Enjoy!!!
