Modern Kitchens From Elmar Cucine
We were browsing through Italian kitchen maker Elmar Cucine‘s catalog the other day and liked what we saw. The forms they use are simple with bold lines and sharp edges giving their designs somewhat of a masculine touch. This emphasis on simplicity is no accident and is expressed quite clearly in their philosophy:
Elmar is not simply content to manufacture products, it wants to manufacture simple products. Simplicity is harmony, the happy balance between form and function that has its fulcrum, its deep meaning, in the human being.
Some great images…

Creative Wall Tiles From Japan
Japanese company INAX has come up with some wonderful tiling options. Dent Cube, first presented at Cersaie 2011 in Bologna, is a three-dimensional porcelain stoneware cladding that can be used to create indented pattern walls. Its design is interesting, because it produces a mixture of geometric structures and colours, that can bring a harmonious twist to a space, either outdoors or indoors. The indented patterns can be filled with different coloured glass, wood or other materials, as required. This can create a certain rhythm that is eye-catching. The Dent Cube is part of a broader concept named Nagomi(stands for inner peace and serenity) and was designed by architect Teruo Yasuda.

Luxury Living Rooms from Busnelli
Italian furniture design company, Busnelli describe their furniture as forms and styles that continuously evolve, that are minimally chic, and that are ample and sturdy in design but not lacking in comfort or elegance. Indeed, when you look at these Busnelli couches, you can picture them in any style of room, in any part of the world, during almost any era. We think it really is a mix of styles and Busnelli sofas may appeal to the modern minimialist or even to the traditional, older housewife. What do you think?

The beige couch looks quite versatile. Make it homey and sweet with a floral print rug, or eliminate the rug and substitute with dark pillows, and it will instantly become more modern and serious.
