The Sims 2- Building a House 9 – Part 1- Exterior

Hello again! I was requested by Purdonnnnn1873 to make a mansion using the Mansion & Garden pack. But I can’t build anything besides modern houses anymore so I made a Modern Mansion. I was creatively challenged the past week, i tried making 2 houses but I abandoned them. I guess all that time has really paid off! This is by far my most favouritest house! I thought that I couldn’t beat my 6th house but this annihilates that one. Took me over 3 hours doing just the outside so I split the architecture and interior decorating into 2 parts. Enjoy and give me feedback and whatnot

The Sims 3 – Building a House 7 – Chicago Dreaming – Part 4 – Interior

The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Requested by coolkit211, who asked for a 1950′s Chicago Townhouse for his Italian Family (which I accidentally disregarded), that consists of Mother, Father and teenage daughter. So apart from those details, I was asked to include a garage and basement (I don’t understand the need for them so the houses I’ve made that require a basement I left empty) and it needed to be small. My first reaction was that it was going to be a quick and easy job… how wrong I was. This house took 3 hours to complete!!! And nothing was extraordinarily hard either, time just flew past. I could’ve made it 2 floors instead of 3 if I managed the ground floor better (theres lots of empty space), but I’ve always wanted to do a 1st floor Kitchen/ Dining Room, so I crammed them, a bathroom and a family room all on the one floor. 2nd floor is really nice but I definitely get carried away with colour themes. I tried being different with the daughters room and threw in Blue instead of all pink. But I think the Black & White throughout the house turned out quite nice. Backyard was just thrown together and the “garage” is very basic. Okay this is my last house that I’m building for a bit. I don’t have much internet to upload 1GB worth of videos everyday… that, and I’m all creative-ed out… I need time to recharge. I’m thinking of building simple, small starter homes instead of expensive works of art when I come back. I need a change. So

The Sims 3 – Building a House 14 – Green With Envious Springs – Part 4 – Interior

The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com First off, I think the kitchen, in paarticular, is too green, should have made the base of the counters and stuff to be that light orangey yellow wood that I use for everything =P I tried being slightly different with my bathroom by putting the toilet behind a wall in the corner…. I dunno if it looks good or not, I want real half walls dammit! Andddddd I’m placing throwbakcs from previous houses from the set with the blue bathroom! Same problem with Carnelian, the living room wouldn’t fit nicely but in the end I think I found the best spot to put it. Rug looks nice though! The bedroom, scheme taken from Black/ White house =DI love continuity! Gerenic bedroom, same as…. the over 30 rooms I’ve done in all my hosues =/ I shouldn’t have kept the green walls though and changed it to a greyish white or something. Still, it works! Same with the top bedroom except that’s the other half, being white… and reversed! the rugs for both are awesome! And I played with the shade of each side of the wall, looks more fun than being plain! Bah! the fireplace/ TV combo I was attempting would’ve been really good if the fireplace was moved slightly… but as always I found middle ground and made it work it’s best. Each installment of my ‘Colour Series’ will have a new feature that I will use for the next installment, so Green will have an amalgamation of all the previous houses, effectively making it a super house! Blue has

The Sims 3 – Building a House 5 – The Window to the Home – Part 4 – Interior

The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com Oh. My. God I haven’t felt this excited about uploading a house since No.9 back in Sims 2!!! Thanks to a request by ghjit, who asked me to build a Japanese/ Indian themed house that looked like a house you’d see in Las Vegas… in the 70′s. I dunno but that’s what I associated the hose with =\. Link to the picture i worked off of is here: www.lamidesign.com What do you think it looks like? Anyway, Sims 3 doesn’t cater for Japanese or Indian themes so I was asked to go for retro… which, sadly, isn’t catered for either. I planned to have modern exterior with a retro interior, but since that fell through, I stuck with modern for both. I must say, I absolutely love this house!!! I stayed in night mode while I was building cos with the lighting it looked realllllllllly sweet. A few ideas such as the driveway and entrance I stole from the Pondsomething house in Sunset Valley, Great house that! Bamboo works really nice with anything. And the usage of the different types of windows I stole from another video from Youtube, can’t remember it though. but thanks goes to them. The little Beachy-Oasis think was a ‘spur the moment’ idea. If you watched my House 4 you’d have seen me dabble with water but didn’t use it. I’ve also started playing around with feature walls and different shades of colour for each side of a room, like the bathroom. You’re all probably getting tired of me using the same furniture sets and stuff

The Sims 3 – Building a House 9 – Life’s A Beach House – Part 3 – Interior

The link to download this house is over here: www.thesims3.com As a few people guessed correctly, I was to build a beach house. And build a beach house I did! However, it was supposed to be an actually fully fledged house but based on the complexities and lot size restricitions, I downgraded to a holiday house. :D I also decided on “experimenting” with colour with each section of the house a different one, I personally like the Blue the most. I forgot to allow sound to be recorded so I had to use music from previous sims, brings back lovely memories! As I said in previous videos I’m getting repetitive with furniture sets and styles, particularly the wood thing. Get used to it until the next pack comes out, and I refuse to spend copious amounts of money in the store (although the Ultra Lounge set is verrrrrry tempting) I tried to make a lowered living room but there wasn’t enough space to fit it all in so I’ll do it next hosue The house took 2 hours and 3 minutes to build and furnish. It costs $72 000 furnished and $52 000 unfurnished. Enjoy!!!
